Afghanistan hit 182-6 vs NZ, equal highest T20I total at Chepauk

Afghanistan scored 182-6 in their T20 World Cup opener against New Zealand at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk). They equalled India's record for highest T20I total at the venue, 182-4 against West Indies in 2018. Afghanistan all-rounder Gulbadin Naib slammed 63(35), registering his highest T20I score. This is also the highest total at men's T20 World Cup against New Zealand.
