Eighth-ranked Afghanistan on Friday recorded their highest-ever successful ODI run chase against a top-10 team. Afghanistan chased down a target of 269 against ninth-ranked Sri Lanka in the first ODI in Hambantota. Ibrahim Zadran top-scored for Afghanistan with 98(98), while Rahmat Shah scored 55(80). The second match of the three-match ODI series will take place on Sunday.
