Afghanistan releases fragment of US-made bomb used by Pakistan in strikes

Afghanistan’s government released a fragment of a General Purpose MK82 bomb allegedly used by Pakistan to strike Afghanistan on Monday. The US-made bomb was reportedly used in attacks targeting civilian areas in Kunar and Paktika provinces, killing three civilians and injuring several others. "Afghans will respond to this aggression with an appropriate retaliation," the Taliban said.
