After 13 months at Vantara, elephant Madhuri gets grand welcome in Kolhapur

After spending over 13 months at Anant Ambani's Vantara in Gujarat, 36-year-old revered elephant Madhuri returned to her home at Nandani Math in Maharashtra's Kolhapur. She received a grand welcome from a sea of devotees, who showered her with flowers. She was relocated to Vantara due to severe health problems before a Supreme Court-appointed High-Powered Committee allowed her return.
