After hair loss, villagers losing nails in Maharashtra's Buldhana

Months after people from several villages in Maharashtra's Buldhana experienced sudden hair loss, villagers are now experiencing nail loss in the district. "Twenty-nine persons have been found with nail deformities in four villages," Buldhana Health Officer Dr Anil Bankar said. "This could be the result of the presence of high selenium levels [in bodies]," he added.
