After its 1st-ever layoffs, Canva allows fired employees to take company-issued MacBooks

In its first restructuring in 13-year history, Canva announced layoffs and employee relocation, affecting over 1,200 employees. As part of their severance package, laid-off employees will get six months of salary, 12-month healthcare coverage and will also get to keep their company-issued Apple MacBooks. "We know not everyone has a personal laptop," the Australian graphic design platform said.
