After Karnataka, Telangana to bring anti-hate speech Bill

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy on Saturday said the government will introduce anti-hate speech Bill. "We'll soon bring legislation...on hate speech," he said. The move comes after Congress-ruled Karnataka passed country's first Hate Speech and Hate Crimes Prevention Bill, 2025. Maximum punishment under this bill is up to seven years of imprisonment, with fines from ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh.
