After Nandigram, Mamata's pick for Rejinagar bypoll withdraws candidature

Mamata Banerjee-led TMC faction's candidate Rabiul Alam Chowdhury has withdrawn his candidature for the upcoming Rejinagar Assembly bypoll in West Bengal. Chowdhury cited harassment of party workers and the lack of an official symbol as reasons for withdrawing his candidature. This came a day after Mamata's pick, Sanchita Pradhan Dey, also withdrew her nomination from the Nandigram bypoll.
