After spending ₹1148 crore, Pune smart city project scrapped

The Smart City project in Pune, launched in 2016, is being wrapped up due to funding shortages and failed initiatives. Despite executing 45 projects worth ₹1,148 crore, significant financial issues led to incomplete projects. The municipal corporation will now manage the assets, with hopes to salvage the investments made.
