Tripura CM Manik Saha announced 58 new postgraduate (MD/MS) seats at Agartala Government Medical College, raising the total from 95 to 153 for academic year 2026-27. The expansion covers 16 specialised disciplines. Saha thanked PM Modi and Union Health Minister JP Nadda for their support in strengthening Tripura's medical education and healthcare infrastructure.
