Agra's Jama Masjid metro station renamed after Mankameshwar Temple

Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has renamed Agra's Jama Masjid station to 'Mankameshwar metro station' after the nearby Mankameshwar Temple. CM Yogi Adityanath had instructed UPMRC to change the name last year. This comes days before PM Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the metro service. Mankameshwar administrator Mahant Harihar Puri said Lord Shiva had established the temple.
