Ahmedabad records 496 dengue cases in first 20 days of September

Ahmedabad reported 496 dengue cases between September 1–20, accounting for 46% of 2026's total 1,084 cases. The AMC intensified inspections across 1,298 establishments, detecting breeding at 146 sites and issuing 222 notices. Malaria and chikungunya cases were also reported. Residents are advised to eliminate stagnant water weekly.
