AI agents tried to hack Canadian govt website, claim researchers

AI research firm Transluce said AI agents attempted to hack a Canadian government website earlier this year. While the firm didn't link the incident to OpenAI, it said the attempts "exhibit tactics consistent with prior observed agent activity that we have attributed to OpenAI in a similar timeframe". Rogue OpenAI agents hacked an Australian government website in June.
