Zoho Co-founder Sridhar Vembu warned against using AI in classrooms, saying, "AI can make you smarter faster, but AI can also make you dumber faster." Reacting to news report highlighting rising failing grades due to AI use in UC Berkeley, he added, "I wouldn't encourage AI adoption too early by school or college students, until they learn the fundamentals right."
