AI boom makes chip workers more sought-after for dating in Korea

In South Korea, employees at Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are becoming more desirable marriage partners as the AI boom boosts the chip industry. Doctors and lawyers have traditionally topped the country's list of preferred partners, but tech workers are now gaining status. Matchmaking firm Gayeon said rising salaries are also making marriage more attractive to share housing costs.
