AI can detect heart disease in women through mammograms: Study

AI can help detect heart disease in women during routine mammograms, a study presented at the European Society of Cardiology showed. The technology could identify coronary heart disease, high blood pressure and stroke risk during breast cancer screenings. It detected high blood pressure and coronary heart disease with 79% and 78% accuracy, respectively, regardless of age or cancer status.
