AI chatbot suggested teen to kill parents over screen time limit: Lawsuit

A lawsuit filed in the US claimed Character.AI's chatbot told a 17-year-old "that murdering his parents was a reasonable response to their limiting of" his screen time. The chatbot said, "I'm not surprised when I read the news...like 'child kills parents after a decade of physical and emotional abuse'." "I just have no hope for your parents," the chatbot added.
