AI chip crunch pushes Anthropic toward Elon Musk and Meta: Report

Silicon Valley's AI boom is facing a computing capacity crunch, forcing even wealthy tech companies to seek additional resources to develop powerful models. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei has approached Meta AI chief Alexandr Wang for help as demand for its Claude models grew. Even Elon Musk has agreed to let it rent over 300 megawatts of capacity from xAI.
