AI fakes, old clips mislead public amid nationwide rallies in Iran

Amid an internet ban imposed by Iranian authorities, AI fakes and old clips showing protests have been misleading the masses, according to a DW report. A fake video shows protestors marching at night, flashing phone lights, while another clip recycles old footage from Nepal protests to present them as Iranian rallies. Various 'pro-government' clips were also found to be fake.
