AI finds flaw that could've made unlimited money, wipes ₹47,500 cr off crypto token in a day

Security researcher Taylor Hornby used Anthropic's Claude to uncover flaws in privacy token Zcash that had remained hidden for four years and could've allowed the creation of unlimited money. Zcash's privacy design makes it impossible to know if any fake Zcash tokens were minted. The news caused Zcash token to crash over 50%, wiping off $5 billion (₹47,500 crore).
