AI-generated stories rated more engaging than human-written: Study

AI-generated short stories can be as good as, or even better than, those written by humans. A recent study found that readers rated AI-written stories as more engaging and higher in quality than human-written ones. The findings were based on responses from 1,682 adults who evaluated six stories, including three generated by ChatGPT and three written by humans.
