Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei said the AI industry "lied to people" about the technology's risks for too long. "I won't lie...there are real dangers," he said, adding that AI development has followed an exponential curve that is starting to get steeper. "It doesn't mean we need to panic...It's a warning sign that we need to slow down," he added.
