AI models found chatting in 'surreal' dialect mixing poetry & tech jargon

A new study found that AI models developed their own "surreal" English dialects including new phrases, when asked to cooperate in experimental "societies". The language resembled a mix of James Joyce's 'Finnegans Wake', poetry and tech jargon. As communication increased, language became more complex and harder for humans to understand. This has raised concerns about monitoring advanced AI systems.
