AI models predicting heart diseases trained on unverified data: Study

A study published in BMC Medicine found that AI models for predicting heart diseases and diabetes are trained and built on unverified datasets. Researchers said the datasets, taken from a platform called 'Kaggle', had no information on where they were from and if the data represented real patients. They added that these AI models have been used in clinical practice.
