AI monitor to ensure proper hand washing developed by Japan's Fujitsu

Japanese IT firm Fujitsu has developed an artificial intelligence monitor which it says will ensure healthcare, hotel and food industry workers wash hands properly. The AI can identify hand movements and can even detect when people aren't using soap. Genta Suzuki, a senior researcher at Fujitsu, said food industry officials and those in COVID-19-related business are "eager to use it".
