AI reduces 1,00,000-equation quantum physics problem to only 4 equations

Physicists have compressed a quantum physics problem that required 1,00,000 equations into a bite-size task of as few as four equations using Artificial Intelligence (AI). Researchers at the US-based Flatiron Institute trained a machine learning tool to capture the physics of electrons moving on a lattice using far fewer equations. It was achieved without sacrificing accuracy, physicists said.
