AI risks should be taken seriously, must ensure it's under human control: Xi

Chinese President Xi Jinping, while speaking at the World AI Conference in Shanghai, stressed the need to take the various risks that AI may pose seriously. "We should ensure that AI is always under human control," he said. "We should put in place laws and regulations, technological monitoring...and emergency response systems...to strengthen...security, prevent abuses and malicious use," he added.
