AI robot lawyer sued for 'practising law without licence' in US

DoNotPay, which uses artificial intelligence and advertises itself as "the world's first robot lawyer", has been sued in the US for allegedly practising law without a licence. Law firm Edelson filed the case on behalf of a DoNotPay customer, who used its services to draft demand letters. DoNotPay is not a robot, a lawyer, nor a law firm, Edelson said.
