AI should be developed as global common good: PM Narendra Modi

Speaking at the AI Impact Summit 2026, PM Narendra Modi said AI can benefit only when it can be shared and therefore we should make a resolve to develop AI as "global common good". "Some countries and companies think AI is a strategic asset and it has to be developed in confidential way. But India thinks differently," PM Modi noted.
