AI startup becomes unicorn in 48 hrs without even trying to raise funds

AI accounting startup Rillet became a unicorn within 48 hours after a board meeting caught investors' attention. During the meeting, CEO Nicolas Kopp shared strong growth numbers, including doubling of annualised revenue in the previous quarter, new clients and an EY partnership. Investors then rushed to back Rillet, leading to a $100-million funding round that valued it at $1 billion.
