Founded this year, generative AI startup Sarvam has attracted $41 million in funding. This is the largest raise by an AI company in India. Sarvam's maiden round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners and also saw participation of Peak XV Partners and Silicon Valley-based Khosla Ventures. The startup will train AI models in Indian languages and create a voice-first interface.
