AI will get expensive to build, cheaper to use: OpenAI CEO Altman

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said that the cost of building AI systems will increase but user access to these technologies will become cheaper. He stated that the cost for users to access AI services will drop by a factor of 10 every year. Altman cited major price reduction for OpenAI's GPT-4 model between early 2023 and mid-2024 as an example.
