Among the resolutions, the AIADMK general council resolved that party cadres will work towards bringing Edappadi K Palaniswami back as Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, and granted him full authority to lead seat-sharing talks. He has also been empowered to decide alliance arrangements for upcoming state elections. The meeting approved an alliance with BJP and endorsed AIADMK’s decision to join NDA.
