AIADMK worker dies after party flag pole falls on him in Tamil Nadu

An AIADMK worker, identified as Chellappan, died in Tamil Nadu's Chengalpattu district after a nearly 100-ft-high flag pole, erected near a highway, belonging to the party fell on him on Thursday. The flag pole fell when it was being lowered to be repaired. Former CM Edappadi K Palaniswami had hoisted the party's flag on the pole a few months ago.
