South African batter Aiden Markram has become the first buy of the Day 2 of the IPL mega auction, being bought by SRH for ₹2.6 crore after a bidding war with PBKS and MI. The 27-year-old has played 70 T20 matches, scoring 1,732 runs. Charu Sharma is standing in for auctioneer Hugh Edmeades on the second day as well.
