AIFF calls age fraud claim against its talent academy 'misleading'

The All India Football Federation refuted a report claiming its AIFF FIFA Talent Academy was disqualified from the U-18 Elite Youth League for age manipulation. It termed the claim "misleading". The AIFF added, "The issue relates to players being outside the prescribed age category, specifically noting that players were 'born after 31.12.2009 (i.e. below the age category)' for the competition."
