Aim to limit use of industrial trans fats by 2022: FSSAI

Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has said that it aims to limit industrial trans fats in all fats and oils to 2% by January next year. "With the enactment of recent regulations on trans fats, India joins the club of around 40 countries that have already enacted the best practice policies to eliminate trans fats," FSSAI said.
