AIMIM’s Waqf protest nothing but a political gimmick: BJP

BJP spokesperson NV Subash said on Thursday that Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM party's "switch off lights" protest against the Waqf (Amendment) Act was "nothing but a political gimmick". He added, "AIMIM chief knows this Bill has been passed in Parliament and is now part of the Constitution. Still he wants to mislead Muslims so that he will get some political mileage."
