Air Force allows PMC to build road on defence land to reach Pune airport

The Air Force has given approval to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) for building an alternate road to Vimannagar through their land. According to officials, PMC requires 2,350 square meters of defence land to complete the road connecting Pune airport with Vimannagar. "PMC had...constructed the road from both ends...only the Air Force road portion was pending," Pune MP Girish Bapat said.
