Air France & Airbus found guilty of manslaughter for 2009 plane crash that killed 228

Air France and Airbus have been found guilty of manslaughter over a plane crash from 2009 which killed all 228 people onboard. The Rio de Janeiro-Paris flight had vanished from radars during a storm and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. The court ordered the companies to pay the maximum fine of $261,720 (₹2.5 crore) each for corporate manslaughter.
