Air India CEO-designate Gebremariam gets govt's security clearance

Tewolde Gebremariam will formally take charge as Managing Director and CEO of Tata-owned Air India following government's security clearance. In August, the airline appointed the former Ethiopian Airlines chief as its new CEO. He will succeed Campbell Wilson, with the leadership transition coming as the airline continues its transformation after the Tata Group took control of the airline in 2022.
