Air India employee held for smuggling gold worth ₹45L from Delhi Airport

An Air India cabin crew member was arrested from the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi on November 22 for smuggling gold into the country worth ₹45 lakh. According to custom officials, the accused was followed from the aircraft gate and later after questioning he admitted that he hid gold bangles under aircraft seat on seeing the customs officials.
