Air India Express crew member smuggles 1.49-kg gold from Bahrain, pics surface

An Air India Express cabin crew member named Shafi Sharaf was arrested at Cochin International Airport on Tuesday for smuggling 1.49-kg gold. He had arrived from Bahrain via Kozhikode at around 8.30 pm. The Customs Preventive Commissionerate stated that further interrogation is underway.
