Air India fined ₹30 lakh for allowing pilot to operate flight without compliance

Aviation safety regulator DGCA has imposed ₹30 lakh penalty on Air India for allegedly allowing one of its pilots to operate a flight without complying with certain regulatory requirements. The pilot operated a flight on July 7 despite not having mandatory recency requirement of 3 take off and landings, the regulator said. DGCA also said it found "recurrent rostering issues".
