Air India flight declares full emergency at Delhi Airport over suspected mid-air engine fire

A Bengaluru-Delhi Air India flight, carrying 171 passengers, declared a full emergency at the Delhi airport on Thursday night following a suspected engine fire mid-air. As per sources, sparks were seen in an engine. After landing safely, the aircraft was quickly towed away. Earlier in the day, a Delhi-Bengaluru Air India flight suffered a tail strike during landing.
