Air India issues statement over high airfares amid IndiGo crisis

Air India issued a statement on Saturday over high domestic flight ticket prices amid the IndiGo chaos, stating they have capped the economy class airfares on nonstop domestic flights. "It's not technically possible to cap all such permutations, but we are engaging such platforms to exercise oversight," it said. This comes as ticket prices surged 10 times on various routes.
