Air India may introduce 'no meals' tickets on short-haul routes to cut fares: Reports

Air India is internally evaluating a proposal to introduce a "no-meal" fare option on select short-haul routes, reports said. The proposed move is being positioned as consumer-centric measure aimed at offering flyers greater flexibility when booking flights. At present, meal costs are bundled into Air India ticket prices. However, there's no certainty on whether it'll eventually be implemented.
