Air India Phuket-Delhi flight lost hydraulic systems at 36,000 ft; seatbelt signs were off

An Air India Airbus A320 travelling from Phuket to Delhi suddenly pitched up and then down at 36,000 feet on August 4, with investigators finding that all three of the aircraft's hydraulic systems had lost pressure within seconds of one another. Seatbelt signs were switched off when the incident occurred, leaving passengers and cabin crew vulnerable to aircraft's abrupt movement.
