Air India planning to furlough staff, cut 1 in every 5 flights to slash losses: Report
Air India is planning to implement measures to reduce its expenses and control losses, as higher jet fuel prices have started eating into its earnings, Bloomberg reported. The airline is planning to put non-technical employees on furlough and cut 20% of its flights, or one in every five flights, over next three months. It's also considering paying lower employee bonuses.
