Air India plans to revive all 17 grounded planes by October

Debt-laden Air India is planning to bring all its 17 grounded planes back into operation by October-end for maximising revenue, Chairman Ashwani Lohani said. Of the 17 planes which were grounded for up to a year due to lack of maintenance and repair funds, eight would begin operations by August-end. The government recently said it's committed to Air India's disinvestment.
